Tamriel Women Unite is a social guild for women and enbys playing Elder Scrolls Online in a fun loving and supporting setting!* With this event we want to show some of the many ways you can have fun together in Elder Scrolls Online and give a huge welcome to new players with prizes and giveaways. 1 // GREYMOOR HOUSING CONTEST
It’s time to make a house with a proper Greymoor feel! We are hosting a housing competition where anyone can submit a furnished abode suitable for the inhabitants of Skyrim and Blackreach for a chance to win our prizes! This contest is even divided into two categories for double inspiration!
BEST NORD HOUSE
The theme for this challenge is: home for a nord! Bring out the rusticness, the wood and runes, the snow and ice, the harsh environments and hospitality of the nords, any interpretation of the theme is welcome! Bonus points for using the new player inn room, that is a challenge in itself. Did you know that the new general furnishing merchant of Solitude sells brand new nord furnishings?
BEST VAMPIRE HOUSE
The theme for this challenge is: a lair fit for a vampire of Western Skyrim! Bring out the lightless abyss, the blood stains, the sinister elegance and eternity of the vampires, and why not sprinkle a bit of Blackreach darkness and glowy plants on your creation, any interpretation of the theme is welcome!
HOW TO WIN?
Enter your house in the #special-events channel on discord or post it as a reply to our event post on the forums! The houses will be shown at a housing tour on Tuesday June 16th and after that all TWU members will be able to vote for their favorite until Thursday June 18th 18:00 CET when the winner will be crowned! The voters will take into consideration the adherence to the theme, the creativity and the aesthetic. Send your vote to @frankles on Discord! PS. It’s ok to ask guildies for help crafting, and to take furniture and recipes from the guild bank.
2 // DRAW LYRIS & FENNORIAN BAE
What inspires to creativity more than these amazing characters that we have come to love and protecc. Draw your best Lyris or Fennorian and post it either in the #creativeskyrim channel on discord or on Instagram tagging @tamrielwomenunite @bethesdanordic. All participants will get surprises! We also have an option to join in a cooperative story on Foldingstory http://foldingstory.com/99qug where you are more than welcome to add!
3 // WRITE YOUR DARK HART OF SKYRIM FANFIC
Coming to you from the TWU Book Club: a Skyrim Fanfic contest! What happens behind the scenes and when the quests are over? What alternative paths do the character of this amazing chapter take in your creative and daring imagination? Feel free to ship to your hearts content, make us laugh like Razum’dar, give us knowledge à Hermaeus Mora, let dragon breaks break hearts and harrowstorms create unexpected alliances! Send your contribution to @klamrar on discord or post it as a reply to our event post on the forums!
4 // WRITE A SKYRIM SONG
Make the College of Bards proud, write your best or funniest skyrim themed song or lyrics for an already existing song! Submit your creations to @perdita on Discord or post it as a reply to our event post on the forums! You may perform your creations live during the June 16th stream, or record a video of your creation and upload it for sharing somewhere, which we will stream for you. If you don’t want to sing the song yourself, maybe another member will sing your song for you? Let your inner musical Sheogorath blossom and start writing ❤
5 // WESTERN SKYRIM OUTFIT SCREENSHOT
Have a go at the outfit system, or loot all manner of weird armor pieces and fit together for the most epic nord or vampire costume you can conjure!
Color them at the outfit station and take a screenshot in a suitable environment to bring out the flavor in your character! For extra pizazz you can use the ingame emotes for magnificent photo poses.
Post your screenshot in the #pics channel before June 10th on discord to join the fray! All members can vote for the most awesome nord or vampire outfit and best screenshot, and the winner will be announced during the stream on June 16th!
With Minion you can get addons for the game and a pro tip for taking great screenshots is the Photographer Addon by Missbizz!
GREYMOOR PARTY & RESULTS STREAM TUESDAY JUNE 16th 19:00 CEST
Bethesda and Tamriel Women Unite welcome you all to a big vampire and nord results reveal party Friday night the 16th of June!
Dress up in your best nord and vampire costumes and join our nord party with lots of mead, bathing in ice-cold water, and bragging about taking a arrow to the knee. (Who can come up with the most impressive/scary/unbelievable story about it?) Let’s go on a tavern route all around Western Skyrim, drink and brawl with our bare fists in our nord bathing towels!
During this stream we will have a housing tour of all the sumbitted houses, show the artwork created of Lyris and Fennorian, reveal the juicy fanfic and also listen to the musical wonders that has been created by you all. We will give away crown codes for ESO in-game extras and, and hand out prizes for the different contests to worthy winners.
